Featured image Skip featured image Post header Skip post header PitPat sponsors record-breaking runner Suffolk, UK – 17 October 2025 When Border Collie Shadow sets off from Sizewell Beach on 18 October, she’ll be joining her owner, runner Megan Boxall, for an extraordinary adventure, attempting to run the entire coast of mainland Britain in just 200 days. Megan plans to complete 200 marathons in 200 days, aiming to become the fastest woman ever to cover the 5,240-mile route. Along the way, Shadow, a rescue from Dogs Trust, will be joining for selected stretches of the journey, running alongside Megan when conditions suit her best. Equipped with her PitPat GPS tracker, Shadow will stay safe and have every mile of her own incredible effort recorded. The challenge is about more than records. Megan is running to raise money for Samaritans, whose support helped her through a difficult time with her mental health last year. “When I was at my lowest, the Samaritans helped me keep going,” she says. “This run is my way of saying thank you — and showing that even when life feels impossible, you can still take one step forward. Having Shadow by my side for parts of the journey will make every mile more meaningful.” Megan was also diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) last year, adding to the scale of her determination.
